Google+ and Facebook

I wanted to post this picture on Facebook. It is the rather fab birthday cake for Geoff Shilling, pipe-smoking bosun of the rowing club, who celebrated his 70th birthday last night (a fab bash, Geoff and Sharon!).
The picture was taken with my smartphone in low light, so the quality was as poor as you might expect. Google+ does a good job of enhancing it, so I wanted to post it from there rather than directly from the phone. Will Google+ allow pics to be shared directly to Facebook? Will they buggery*.
Eventually the process involved downloading the image to my PC, uploading it to Picasa Online, and posting it in this blog.
From which, of course, it will be automatically posted on Facebook.
It will, of course, also appear on Google+ but that is a deserted, empty, unpopulated wasteland where nobody will see it.

*Subject, of course to the usual caveat (I might be too stupid to spot the obvious and easy method for doing exactly that).
