Browser woes (con't)

So I reverted to Firefox.
My PC no longer crashes every hour or so, which is good.
But Firefox refuses to run YouTube videos, showing a black hole instead.
And when I tried to place a picture from Picasa Web on a blog, the 'Select' button refused to work.
Hawk spit gob fnack.
Now I am experimenting with Opera. So far so good, though I am slightly irritated by it telling me that my PC performance is poor every time it loads.
This sounds like a lecture, which is annoying, but is actually an attempt to bully me into buying PC performance enhancing software, which is frankly bad practice.
