Captcha Gotcha

Synchronization should be so, so easy. You modify a file, save it, and when you come back to it later it is waiting for you nicely, exactly as you last left it.
HA! YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING!
I have much to say about synchronization, mostly in language not suitable for the delicate sensibilities of Billingsgate fishwives or Metallica fans. But right now I want to concentrate on Captchas.
I wanted to install the new synchronization software QuickOffice Connect onto my Android phone. It is dead easy, they said. Go to the play.google.store and click on the link.
But what they didn't say was you have to enter the Captcha.
And then the phone transfers you to another screen, so you have to MEMORISE the Captcha before you enter it.
And it is difficult enough, Christ alone knows, to work out what the Captcha says - let alone memorize it and enter it correctly effectively blind.
After three unsuccessful attempts I gave up. My Android phone will have to do without QuickOffice sync.  TO THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS: Thou knavish guts-griping pantaloon!
